It’s bound in a soft, supple chocolate brown by-product leather. The leather ages over time enhancing the rustic look of each piece.
The journal is filled with beautiful handmade paper created from pieces of recycled cotton rag. This ancient paper making skill has been passed on through generations. Cotton paper has the additional benefit of being tree free as no wood pulp is used. Each sheet is painstakingly made by hand and dried by the sun before being bound in leather and carefully hand stitched.
Each journal may have superficial imperfections in the leather - just a sign of their provenance and uniqueness! Each journal contains 120 pages.
The journal comes in a drawstring cotton bag.
